Maintenance

Stingray’s Service team carries out regular maintenance either on-site at fish farms or at one of Stingray’s two service centres in Fauske and Oslo.
Stingray also continuously maintains its software to support long-term performance, reliability and security.
Hardware Maintenance
Stingray nodes operate in demanding marine conditions and are subject to wear over time.
Scheduled inspections, maintenance and the replacement of wear parts help maintain reliable performance and reduce the risk of unplanned downtime.
Replacing individual wear parts rather than larger modules or complete nodes helps extend product lifetime and reduce resource consumption and waste.

Software Maintenance
Stingray continuously maintains its software to support long-term performance, reliability and security. Reported issues are prioritised and addressed through troubleshooting and corrective development.
Maintenance also includes performance optimisation and the efficient use of system resources. Unnecessary or inefficient code can be removed or improved to support stable operation and reduce processing and memory requirements.
Regular backups and recovery procedures support business continuity and system resilience in the event of a failure.
